Document Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Date of Birth
  • Housing and Employment history for the last 2 years.
  • 30 Days Current Pay stubs
  • W-2 Forms for the most recent two years.
  • Two Years Federal Tax Returns for Self Employed and/or Landlords
  • (Corporate or Partnership Returns if more than 25% of business ownership)
  • Three Years Federal Tax Returns for First Time Home Buyers
  • Bank statements for past two months
  • Investment account statements for past two months
  • Retirement account statements for past two months
  • Make/Model of vehicles you own along with their estimated resale value
  • Landlord Contact Information if you are currently renting

VA Borrowers:

  • Retired Military:  Form DD214 (Discharge Papers)
  • Active Duty:  Service Letter
  • Reservist:  Service Points Summary
  • Certificate of Eligibilty (If not in posession, we will order)
  • Contact information for nearest living relative
  • Claim file number for service related disablities (in excess of 10%)

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage Statements - Most recent
  • Home Insurance Policy information
  • Rental Properties - Lease agreements for properties rented out for <1 year.
